It has been a rather rough week. Sadly, my grandmother passed away at the age of 93. It should have been expected I suppose; however, I was really beginning to think she could go on forever. I don’t think I can say much more about that, at the moment. Anyway, isn’t it weird, when you’re out of sorts anyway, how many other things can go wrong? As each thing goes wrong, it snowballs to the point of absurdity? That has been my week. Murphy’s Law. I’m hoping that, somehow, Halloween will break the cycle. Don’t ask me my reasoning. It can’t be explained.
So, in an attempt to avoid tripping over my words, or whatever else could go wrong, I’m going to keep this short and sweet….another blog post in pictures. Here is Robin Hood Jacket #2:
Robin Hood Jacket #2

- Needles: Knit Picks Interchangeable Circs, 6.5mm and 8mm

Dont we all expect our grandparents to live forever. I know I did when I was young, and sadly my children never got to meet them all. Paul’s grandmothers are both still here with us and both going well. I know that it seems like a hard time for you, but just remember all the memories will live on with you. It is harder for the ones left behind than for the ones who journey onwards. Hugs to your family too.
The second Robin Hood Jacket looks just as wonderful and I love the color too.

Sorry about your grandmother… I know how it is even when they are “old”, one of mine died at 104 and we were still sad. #2 is lovely, and what fun to see w/ #1! A week or two ago it seemed like every electronic thing in my vicinity was crashing in some way or another.

So sorry to hear about your grandmother. Maybe you can tell us what she was like at knitting night. We all missed you on Sunday.
Your second Robin Hood is wonderful! The children are adorable! Are they enjoying the matchiness? I have the pattern marked in my book to make when Nina is bigger. Love that tassled hood!
